    I don't think so as you saw the kick, moved back with it to take some momentum from it and blocked it too. I've been practising head movement and if you see the strike and your hands are fairly close to your face your normally ok. It just feels like you got caught out in a big way wen it happens 😂

    Your head movement is excellent 👍 This last round kick, I think he pulled the kick intentionally, it was going to the head and would be a potential knockout...

    Being a lanky striker with a strong jab this is my whole game plan. Leg kicks and straights until they start moving their head off center. Then, head kicks behind faints. Really limits movements and makes it easier for me to jab and prod while moving around.

    You should let fighters develop their own style that comes natural to them, and learn them how to be more efficient with that style. But whatevs.. probably a good fighter.

    This is Exactly why height (and reach) is a MUCH bigger factor than weight, at least in gym sparring and street fights.

  • @tech-wondo4273
    @tech-wondo4273 23 часа назад

    It might have been a KO since He is pushing forward with the roundhouse kick and you were moving backwards into his range Wouldn't have definitely been a KO if you were moving rather forward into his leg or body, nullifying the power of the kick. But since we tend to use head movement more backwards than forward when we disengage. It might have been a KO 😅 But if you maybe teach yourself to go in into the body like Khabib when you're in range of such a situation and kick, then the KO is totally dismissible ✅

    • @Unstrict
      @Unstrict 10 часов назад

      This makes no sense lmao F+F=F2. If you push yourself into a kick its going to hit harder because of your force also moving into their foot

    • @tech-wondo4273
      @tech-wondo4273 5 часов назад

      @@Unstrict It does make tons of sense if you have martial arts experience. Because the power of the kick reaches its peak in a certain spot and range, and cutting the angle into the body itself correctly literally just nullifies the whole kick, like going for a double leg while avoiding the kick. You can see how Khabib and Islam do it all the time. I don’t mean to be disrespectful, but you said you’re a gymnastics coach, not a martial artist or a kickboxing coach.

    This is so freaking satisfying as a kick loving person. The guy is faster than you, sharper than you, pulls off awesome slips and picks you appart, but you figure him out and get him to slip into your headkick... I love all kinds of fighters but it's always really rewarding to figure someone's game and use one of their strength to catch them off guard :) Just good fun and strategies.

    Jeff is a great fighter, no doubt but when he sparr with Saenchai you can see the difference between the Muaythai legend and Jeff if Saenchaiactivatedhis beast mode god knowswhat couldhappen, but i have to say this Jeff is a great striker though / not a muaythai fighter obviously from the movement and steps u can tell. And I believe more fighters from mma should do a proper muaythai to understand the real art. Big respect Jeff 🙏🏻

    I didn’t see anyone hurt, let alone KO’d 😂. Love your videos man, and of course some people take it too far, but good sparring is by far the best training IMO. Hitting pads doesn’t prepare you for that comfort and movement/actual engagement.
